Books make awesome gifts and are great ways to make an effort to reach someone who just needs a little time or subtle push to understand deeper. Some of these titles are the first ones that come to mind when I considered the people in the extended family and friends I exchange gifts with. I've always been reserved about listing stuff like this; there are many other titles and authors, I would absolutely endorse as well. If I left off a great one, the comments work.
